Sinds gisteren zijn er vreemde objecten rondom ons huis gesignaleerd... Since yesterday strange, unidentified objects where found in and around our house... Ze schijnen in paren te komen...eeuwige roem voor wie mijn kan vertellen wat dit is... They seem to come in pairs. Eternal fame for those who can tell me what they are!

I had a small set back this evening. I wanted to finish my second bra, drawn according to the method of Bella Hendriks (which I will tell a little more about later on in the sew along) , but it turned out I made a mistake somewhere. My channeling was too short at one side and the wire didn't fit in anymore...The whole idea about the Bella Hendriks method is that you draw from the wire, so there was something seriously wrong! Luckily I could have a little phone conversation with Tialda, a forum member that introduced me and several other members into the secrets of the Bella method a few weeks ago. We decided I should draw the cups again, since I thought the cups might be a little bit too small for me anyway. I startes drawing again, with the help of my old drawings and a wonderful handout Tialda had made for us. I will start cutting and sewing again tomorrow evening, can't wait! I am a bit ambitious this time. I hope to finish three bra's by the end of next Monday. I want to finish my second Bella Hendriks bh (I will write about this method in the sew along soon) and start with the next one next Monday on a real live sew along from the Dutch lingerie forum (at least, some members gather). Monday evening I also have a three hour lingerie sewing class. I want to make a second bra with padding (is that an English term?). I made a red one earlier. I will keep you posted on the sew along blog. Ik hoop dat ik de turbo vind, want ik heb het voornemen om voor volgende week dinsdag 3 bh's te maken! 't Is was ambitieus, dat besef ik me, maar ik ga een poging wagen om toch eens een gat te slaan in mijn 6 lingerieprojecten die ik beloofd heb te maken. A warm welcome to my fellow sew along lingerie addicts! Forgive me, most of my blog is in Dutch, I will try and write some in English as well from now on. But first I will have to explain in Dutch why I write in English all of a sudden. Een poosje geleden opperde Sigrid op haar blog om met een groep samen online lingerie te maken in een heuse 'sew along' (zeg maar vergelijkbaar met onze online activiteit op het forum). Aangezien zij haar fantastische blog altijd in het Engels schrijft en veel internationale lezers trekt, wordt het dit maal een internationale aangelegenheid en is de voertaal Engels. Voor deze sew along heeft Sigrid een besloten weblog opgezet waarop alle aangemelde deelnemers hun avonturen tijdens het lingerie maken kunnen delen. Er hebben zich inmiddels zo'n 30 deelnemers gemeld. Heb je zin om mee te doen, meld je dan aan via mail bij Sigrid. 't Rooie hempje loopt lekker door, maar op het forum Zelf Lingerie Maken is er nu ook een nieuwe online activiteit gestart met het thema Badkleding . Ik vind het altijd leuk om inspiratie te verzamelen en maak dan ook regelmatig een moodboard: Nieuw dit maal is dat we een tweede thema naast het hoofdthema hebben: asymmetrisch. Grappig dat wanneer je googlet op 'asymmetrisch' je heel veel foto's van kapsels krijgt. Maar er is natuurlijk meer: We hebben net de vakantie geboekt gisteren, dus misschien moet ik me ook maar eens wagen aan het zelf maken van badkleding (lees badpak, haha).
